We have an opportunity to help special children in the newly established Hogares Lutheranos El Buen Pastor (Good Shepherd Lutheran Homes) in the Dominican Republic.  Several members of the congregation have traveled to the Dominican Republic and witnessed first hand the needs of and opportunities for these children.  More recently, the congregation heard from Pastor Ted Krey who is the Director of Latin American Missions for The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  Pastor Krey told us of the remarkable progress the children are making as a result of the care and attention they are being given in the Good Shepherd Home.  To learn how you might sponsor a child, or to learn more about the mission, click here. You can print out the form and mail it in, or email or call Special Children Inc. for more information.  Congregational members Kristin Dye and Barb Below were recently in the Domican Republic helping with the mission.  Please remember the Dominican ministry in your prayers.
